14″ Aloe Alexis Custom Comfort Latex Mattress has three layers in total with some additional layers for a better comfort. The lowest layer is high-density base foam which is 8-inch thick. The base foam which is this thick guarantees the great edge support and even more excellent durability of the mattress. Furthermore, the base layer, such as this one, is also responsible for minimizing the motion transfer.
The second and the top layer are each 3-inch thick, and each is made from Talalay latex. The process of making this latex is difficult, but the results are marvelous. They provide not only great comfort but also great air circulation, thus keeping the mattress and your body warm in the winter and cold during the summer.

The additional layer mentioned above is from wool. Wool is rarely used nowadays, but this mattress uses it to achieve a greater effect of temperature cycling mentioned above. How it feels
